Larsen Envelope began more than 40 years ago as a family-run, service-oriented envelope printing business for companies that valued fast turnaround times, quality printing and personal service.

Today, Larsen Envelope remains a family-run business. We continue to put a premium on personal attention and still provides fast, quality envelope printing services. Most tellingly - many of those first customers are still with us.

Nan and Len Larsen founded Larsen Envelope in 1976 with the belief that printers, brokers and in-plant printing shops needed an affordable envelope printing partner who had their interests at heart and the technology, equipment, and expertise to deliver high-quality work under the tightest deadlines.

Our pressmen are full-time, and they've been doing this for years. In fact, the majority of our employees have been in the envelope-printing industry for more than 20 years.

In addition, we have utilized the newest technology throughout our history, allowing us to provide immediate quotes and to turn around jobs in two to three days. We were the first envelope printer in the Chicago area to:
  • Use a four-color Halm press
  • Integrate direct-to-plate/CTP processes
  • Use an electronically controlled ink doser for perfectly computerized ink mixes
  • Run three, 4-color presses at one location
We can accept and send state-of-the-art electronic files, create PDF proofs, and create color match proofs. Thanks to our fleet of trucks, we can deliver to any client throughout the Chicagoland area.
